Well, it has finally happened. I was laid off my job today, due to the slow economy among other things, none related to my performance mind you. Stay tuned for updates...

Johnny Cupcakes - Los Angeles

Streetwear is super huge right now, especially on Fairfax in Los Angeles. Next to the old Jewish district is a bunch of popular boutiques such as Flight Club, HUF, The Hundreds, Supreme, Reserve, Hall of Fame and much more. Around the corner on Melrose you have BAPE, Crooks & Castles and the newest shop all the way from Boston, Johnny Cupcakes

He basically spoofs pop culture icons with his own logo and limited edition streetwear. But the real magic is in his stores, he creates the feeling that you're entering a bakery but the only treats he's selling are his clothing and collectibles! People have been known to camp out up to 3 days prior to the opening. Here's some pics from the Boston stores:





But Johnny has set his sights on Los Angeles with one of the more memorable shopping experiences known to man. I really doubt you will ever shop at a place like this anywhere else! Here are some preview videos for the LA shop:

Well I haven't updated this blog in a minute, mostly because I have been busy with school. Yes. Summer school.

I haven't taken a summer course since oh...11th grade!

Big Bear

A few months ago I was invited for a weekend up in Big Bear, CA. If you haven't been there, it's basically southern cali's answer to nature. It's so amazing that you could be at the beach, to the top of a snow covered mountain or wide open desert all within two hours of driving. I <3 LA.



I fought this dude, and won.
